Privacy Policy

This policy describes what this website collects, who else touches it, how long I keep it, and how to make me delete it. It is short because the site collects very little.

1. Who is responsible

This website is operated by de Lacey Ventures LLC, a single member limited liability company based in Austin, Texas, United States, trading as LocalPBN. It is the data controller for the information described here.

For anything in this policy, including a deletion request, email hello@localpbnbuilder.com.

2. What I collect

If you use the enquiry form

Your name, email address, website address, trade, the town or city you want to rank in, the package you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field. The form is processed by Splitforms, which passes the submission to me by email.

If you message me on WhatsApp

Your WhatsApp phone number, your display name and the content of your messages. The message composer on this site does not send anything by itself. It opens WhatsApp with text prefilled, and nothing reaches me until you press send in WhatsApp. At that point WhatsApp and its parent company handle the message under their own terms, not mine.

If you buy a package

Checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address and card details, and asks for your website, your trade and your target market so I know what to build. I receive everything except your full card number, which stays with Stripe. I never see or store complete card details.

Automatically, when any page loads

This site runs on Cloudflare, which logs standard request information: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser and operating system version, and the page you arrived from. That happens at the infrastructure level for security and reliability. I do not build profiles from it and I do not connect it to your enquiry.

3. Why I collect it

• To answer you. An enquiry cannot be replied to without a reply address.
• To deliver what you bought. The target URL, brand name and market are the build instructions.
• To take payment and keep tax records. Required by law.
• To keep the site up and defend it from abuse. The infrastructure logs above.

Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, my lawful bases are performance of a contract for the first two, legal obligation for tax records, and legitimate interests for security logging and for replying to an enquiry you initiated. I do not rely on consent, because I do not run tracking that would require it.

4. Who else processes it

These are the only third parties that receive personal information through this site:

• Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery and security for this website.
• Splitforms: processes enquiry form submissions and forwards them to me.
• Stripe: takes payment, stores card details and handles recurring billing.
• WhatsApp and Meta: only if you choose to message me there.
• My email provider: receives and stores the correspondence between us.

Each is used for the purpose described and nothing else. I do not pass your information to advertisers, data brokers, lead resellers or any other client.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to local storage. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording, no heatmap tool and no A/B testing script. The fonts are hosted on this domain rather than loaded from a font service, which is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you to consent to.

Two exceptions sit outside this site. If you continue to Stripe checkout, Stripe sets cookies on its own domain in order to process payment and prevent fraud. If you open WhatsApp, the same applies there. Those are covered by Stripe's privacy policy and WhatsApp's own policy.

6. How long I keep it

• Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months, in case you come back, then deleted.
• Client records and correspondence: for as long as you are a client, and then for seven years, because financial records have to be retained.
• Payment records: retained by Stripe under its own schedule.
• Infrastructure logs: retained by Cloudflare on its own short rolling schedule, not by me.

7. Your rights

Whatever country you are in, you can ask me to:

• tell you what I hold about you,
• give you a copy of it,
• correct it if it is wrong,
• delete it, and
• stop using it for a particular purpose.

Email hello@localpbnbuilder.com and I will respond within 30 days. I will not charge you for it and I will not make you explain why. The one limit is that I cannot delete records I am legally required to keep for tax, and if you are a current client, deleting your build instructions means I cannot continue the service.

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are a California resident, I confirm that I have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months, and that you will not be treated differently for exercising any of the rights above.

8. Where it is processed

I am based in the United States, and Cloudflare, Splitforms and Stripe are United States companies, so your information is processed there. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, that is a transfer outside your jurisdiction, made on the basis of the standard contractual clauses that these providers offer in their own data processing terms.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Payment details never reach my systems, because Stripe handles them on its own infrastructure. I do not ask for and do not want logins to your website, hosting, Google Business Profile or analytics, which removes the most damaging thing a supplier can leak about you. If anyone requests those credentials in my name, it is not me.

No system is perfect. If a breach affects your information, I will tell you and the relevant authority as required, rather than quietly.

10. Children

This is a business to business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. I do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top. If a change materially affects how I handle information I already hold about you, I will email you rather than relying on you to notice.
